Mr. Sandvall is a local businessman and entrepreneur who has spent time researching
TIF, and consequently has plenty to say about it as it relates to the new Aurora
Economic Stimulus Plan (also known as the Gaylord Entertainment Deal). But it’s
not just a danger to the people of Aurora, it’s something we must all be concerned
about as it may be coming to a city near us! Read the below article by Randle O’Toole
of CATO to get a better idea of the topic. It’s important, because it can easily
affect YOU! So be sure to join us for this important discussion by Mr. Sandvall,
which will be followed by Q & A and group discussion.
Mock Debate: Should the government play a role in creating jobs and stimulating
the economy?
Mr. Sandvall will join us early for our mock debate! So be sure to get to Choppers
by 6:00 to hear Jude debate a “progressive” (quotations indicate they are just pretending!)
on whether or not government should play a role in creating jobs. You can expect
to walk away with some good talking points, and are also encouraged to share your
own thoughts after the 15 minute debate.
