The thoughts and prayers of the Backbone Radio staff go out to all of them in advance of the impending danger. In our first hour this Sunday, I’ll be joined by my friend and fellow Leadership Program of the Rockies graduate, Jude Sandvall, who is a candidate to be the next mayor of Aurora. We’ll talk about Aurora politics and the massive “blight” designation of land by the city council to further their efforts to use Tax Increment Financing to bring a huge convention and hotel complex to Aurora land near Denver International Airport. (Another candidate for mayor, who is also a friend, Ryan Frazier, is on the city council and may join the conversation. At the time of this writing, that’s not yet confirmed.)
